Sunday Night Theatre Blogging
Just returned from a madcap Manhattan weekend where I saw Will Eno's "Oh the Humanity and other exclamations" and Tracy Letts' "August: Osage County." Both were excellent. (New York theatre blogger Rocco spied me at the latter along with several celebrities of lesser stature.)
Drinks after the Eno show with the author, cast, my brother-in-law and others. Ran into some of my old downtown theatre compatriots. Walked the brisk streets of Christmastime Manhattan. Bought some slippers at the Union Square holiday market. Stayed at a hotel on glittering 32nd and Fifth.* I miss that damn city.
*not really glittering
