Urbaniak Show Business Juggernaut Status Report
Fox's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" premiered to socko boffo ratings, a considerably different reception than that which greeted my last primetime series, NBC's ill-fated "Kidnapped." As mentioned on this blog, I play a character who is introduced at the end of the abbreviated current season. Good ratings bode well for production of post-strike episodes (whenever that may be) and further images of yours truly gallivanting with the rebels and the robots. But of course in show business you never know.

Meanwhile, I have been informed that my second Domino's commercial, the one where I speak, was shown last night during "American Idol." Let me know where else you see it.

My friends, the state of the Urbaniak Show Business Juggernaut is strong.

I've been watching "Terminator..." with my dad, and he's pretty into it. I have to go back to my television-lacking dorm room this weekend, but I've told him to watch out for you. Congratulations on the recent success!

I saw the new ad; it was very good. I like the direction, the swift cut away from you shipping dudes to the VO, etc.

The latest iteration of classic Law and Order seems like a Kidnapped reunion already -- maybe the Accountant could show up as a guest perp. Or do I dream too big?

Screw that -- I'm thinking of a TV show based on a Federal Express executive who quits his job and goes to work delivering pizza for Domino's. Comedy gold!

I'm happy that Terminator is doing well. The second episode answered some of the questions about how the characters (whom we are already very familiar with from the movies) are going to be developed to keep it interesting.

Here's to hoping the ratings keep up.

Terminator's not bad, actually. I'm kinda' diggin' it. Hope we get to see you show up, sir.

So get this, I'm watching Idol. My girlfriend recorded it on the DVR and I threw it on for some laughs while I tool around on my laptop... when I hear your voice. I was not expecting to look up and see you in your Dominos gear barking orders at some dudes, ha. Nice seeing you again.

Best website ever. I once found the sixties' Better Homes and Gardens Meat Cook Book in an antique shop. I bought it; the chili recipe is not as scary as the rest of what's in there.

I just caught the "speaking" commercial during the Reno 911! mini-marathon on Comedy Central.

I hadn't seen the non-speaking one yet so this was a nice treat.

After seeing the first two episodes, I'd rather have "Kidnapped" back.

I just saw the new commercial on Spike TV, during Star Trek: Voyager. Very funny!

On an unrelated note, will there be any chance of an Urbaniak sighting at this year's New York Comicon?

Are you kidding me?! I haven't even seen your first Domino's commercial. I think I have seen every Domino's commercial but yours at least a dozen times.

There's the fellow in the tiny robe, the guy-time montage, the 30-minute abs dude... BUT WHERE IS URBANIAK?

How many episodes of the terminator series are currently available? I missed the second episode, but saw a lot to like in the first.

I saw the new commercial and thought to come here straightaway, but I got sidetracked. So, I cant recall if I was watching Lewis Black on Comedy Central or if it was when I was watching Law and Order possibly on USA - bad guy jumped into a trash truck and got squished to death - neat-o.

So I saw it, and finally you get to speak, but I couldn't understand what you said!

Oh dear god, I just realized something. What if there's a Domino's commercial during Terminator? Could one possibly suffer ill effects from too much Urbaniak?
