Hey, this is enjoyable. Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer doing a video commentary on the latest Venture Brothers episode. Just click on the little things. You'll figure it out.

Hey, you know what else is enjoyable? [info]toddalcott's posts on the show.

I would've been at the San Diego Comic-Con Venture Brothers panel later this month but I'll be shooting a movie in New Jersey. Ah well.

Aw, that sucks you won't be at Comic Con, but work is always good. It better be a good movie, though! ;)

What the fuck, man? Why are you, like, advancing your career instead of going to a convention? It's all about YOU, isn't it?

There are nerds to please.

I swear to g-d i was going to do the EXACT SAME THING. Same screen grab same quote.

But I love these guys for doing this, they give and give and give, and it's so appreciated.

Ditto.

The freeze on Jackson's reaction is almost better than the quote itself.

After listening to Season 2 commentary, I get the feeling that Jackson makes that face a LOT around the Astrobase. Doc has the most wonderfully filthy sense of humor I have ever heard.

Gosh they're cute.

I hope Doc turns out to be one of those people who keeps his trademark hair deep into old age. Like Andy Warhol and Rip Taylor. Or even into middle age like Morrissey and Robert Smith. I will enjoy that, I believe.

I wonder what that Flock Of Seagulls guy's hair looks like now.

Saw it last night. I noticed this with other appearances/commentaries but is it me or does Billy Quizboy sound the closest to Doc Hammer's natural voice?

I guess so. But did you ever notice how he sounds when he gets excited? He's more 21-like then then in the booth.

Thanks for making me aware of those, Jackson and Doc are always amusing to watch! Though I guess the reaction to that would be DUH, THEY MAKE THE VENTURE BROS! XD Also, I suppose I'm kinda behind in things but, I just reciently saw Across the Universe, and it was great! Pointed you out right away too! ;)

Very enjoyable indeed. As is Todd's blog. I've been a reader of his for a while, and his VB blogs are always great. Although, I often wonder if Jackson and Doc put anywhere near as much thought into the stories as Todd does in his analyses.

Seeing as I'm about the creators' ages, mine was a guy who liked knives and Survivor a little too much, and did refer to himself in the third person. Oddly enough, his name was Jimmy, just like the overexcited guy who also referred to himself in the third person in that one Seinfeld episode.

However, he was aiming more for the "bully in 3 O'Clock High" look/attitude.
