Audition update update
I didn't get the radio commercial where I auditioned to be the voice of a talking glass of water. However, I booked a different radio commercial where I will be the voice of a talking gas cap. Celebrate in your respective fashions.

In related news, the one where I'm the voice of a talking amoeba is still running in some markets.

Man 1: Total. This is three weeks in a row.
Man 2: It's getting creepy.

Man 2: Bit aggressive for a wiper. Wipers are more neurotic-sarcastic.

Well, here's the thing. The commercial is part of a Ford campaign where different parts of a car talk to the driver. I had originally read for the voice of an oil filter and the voice of another car part, I forget what, a carburetor or whatnot. The following week I was called back to read for the voice of yet another part: the gas cap. Which they finally hired me for. So it seems there actually was a discussion like the one you imagined.

In the first Manhunt I'm "Innocentz #5." In the second one I believe I'm one of the "Pervs." I also recorded some redneck guy but I have no idea if it's in there. I've never played it.

A friend of mine at Rockstar London put a photo of me in a gas-mask onto a club poster/flier in Manhunt 2 - that sounds like the kind of place a Perv might hang out!

(It's still not come out in the UK yet, so I've yet to check)
