Sarkissssian's back! (sort of)
"Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" story editor and Venture Brothers fan Zack Stentz writes in:
Just because we killed you...
...doesn't mean we didn't love you. Many were the discussions in the writers' room about the fate of "Dr. Venture," as we referred to the character.

And since what happened in the attic is in many ways the central trauma of season two, we're going to be seeing more of Mr. Urbaniak in a future episode. Finally, thanks to James for being so gracious, talented, and professional, even when his work day consisted of lying under a sheet in burn makeup. And thanks again for signing my season two Venture Bros. DVD set. Go team burned Armenian gangster!
Let me just add that I am rather pleased by the prospect of having my own page on this exclusive website.

Lets hear it for the nerds amongst the show runners! Amazing there was a time when voiceover work for TV cartoons meant you werent gonna travel far in the industry.

I love how they billed you as "guest star" last night when that meant corpse work and flashbacks. They got my hopes up that somehow Sarkassian recovered!

Well, I knew Urbaniak as Rusty Venture and was an embarrassing fanboy on set, while the big boss Josh Friedman was all "James Urbaniak? The guy from the Hal Hartley movies, right?" And he unfortunately nixed my suggestion to put Sarkissian's henchman in a blonde mullet instead of the Anton LaVey look they had him in...

Incidentally I didn't know the Snape one because while I enjoy the films, the novels are poorly written shite (in my humble opinion) so thanks to you dear commenter for ruining another plot element. You must be proud.

yes dumbledore is killed by snape but there's way more to it. and the term "snape kills dumbledore" is only part correct.

Now that I have seen it; yes it does. I still would have preferred going into the episode not expecting it.


Would have given the scene a bit more meaning to me that 'oh, OK he's dead now... now what'

I assure you, it was worse to miss about 15 seconds of the show and then watch the rest waiting for Urbaniak to show up only to learn through this blog that he had, in fact, been killed off during my momentary lapse of attention.
