After watching this and the old videos of the Marvel Comics floats from years past, I have decided that an untapped source for comedy gold is how embarrassingly static everyone else on a float is while they're not directly part of the action.

I thought it was a cute idea for a float, although I don't recall seeing it during the CBS parade coverage - maybe I picked just the wrong moment to get another cup of coffee, but I don't think even I would have forgotten either the rickroll or the freakish recreations of the Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends characters.

I don't know about others, but I'd rather be rickrolled than goatse.xed any day, which if memory serves, was the earlier, less benign, trick link prank.

Before the video starts, it looks like Ricky Gervais is behind the microphone. I have never been so disappointed :(
