The Freewheelin' Ted Geisel

The songs on Dylan Hears a Who! go beyond parody to become (for my money) a genuinely touching tribute to two major 20th century artists. A mashup masterpiece. (Site says songs may not load in Internet Explorer. Safari recommended.) via Metafilter

Update: Direct mp3 links for alternate access or anyone having trouble loading the site:
The Things You Can Think
Green Eggs and Ham
Gertrude McFuzz
McElligot's Pool
Too Many Daves (my favorite)
The Zax
The Cat in the Hat

wow, thats impressive. I can't imagine that would be easy to mix to make it sound like Bob singing those 'lyrics.' Nice find, i'll have to pass that along to my friend who's a big Dlyan fan. He'll totally get a kick out of that.

unrelated (because i haven't had much time to post this yet)-

Only members of the Venture Brothers community possess such killer smiles.

It's not a digital assemblage, of course. It's a guy doing a killer Dylan impression. I'm sorry to use the adjective "killer" two comments in a row but it's the only word that fits.

thats even MORE impressive!
Though if it was a whole digital assemblage, that guy would have to recieve some kind of metal for his striff. But indeed that was a 'killer' impression. (my friend did enjoy it btw.)

... killer is today's secret word. But only in the context of something being "cool," "rad," or "hip." Points off for using it with things like murder,"Killer Sudoku," and the ever-sooo-not funny "killer coke".

The internet is far too distracting...

That wasn't fair, I apologize. I'm sure it's glandular.

God he's such a fatty.

Six degrees of Urbaniak!! Kevin Bacon to Urbanaik via The White House and San Dimas High. Very good.

PS> I also just found out you pronounce your name Ur-baniak, like ani-maniac (which I have kept saying over and over like Scuba). I always thought it was pronounced Urban-ache. Good job I never met you so I couldnt make a complete tit out of myself.

This new name gives you an air of danger. Very good.

My last name is pronounced Er-BAN-ee-ak with the BAN pronounced with a short "a" as in "ban the bomb." Its pronunciation has been misreported in the past.

Very cool and sweetly bizarre.

They're all nifty, but I think my favorites are probably "Gertrude McFuzz" and "McElligot's Pool"

so let us disagree to agree...

the voice of dylan is kind of hacky, but here's a better mash-up...Elvis and Zeppelin together at last!
